Who are SoloShare?
SoloShare are an exciting new company set up specifically to offer the general public the chance to buy a gift pack including a real share of a well known company. SoloShare work closely with stockbrokers and the individual company registrars in order to make the reality of owning a share in your favourite football club accessible to everybody.
How do I buy my SoloShare gift pack?

Enclose a cheque, banker's draft or postal order for £30 per gift pack, plus a total of £3.25 postage and packing (if ordering more than one pack, add 1 per additional item).
How much does a gift pack cost?
Each individual gift pack costs £30, plus £3.25 postage and packing.
Will I really own a share of my chosen company?
Yes. Once you have made your purchase the company registrars of your chosen company will be sent your details and a real single share in the company will be transferred into your name or the name of the person who you wish to give the gift pack to. On completion of the transfer by the registrar they will produce a share certificate conferring on the recipient all the usual rights of a shareholder of your chosen company. These may include dividends, if the company pays them, and may also include reports, all sent directly from the company or company registrar to the shareholder, not via SoloShare.
How long will it take for my gift pack to arrive?
Once you place your order your gift pack will be dispatched to you within 2-3 working days (national holidays excepted). The initial gift pack will include: a presentation gift certificate, company information, details of shareholders' rights a letter of introduction, and a postage-paid registration card.
How long will it take for my official share certificate to arrive?
The share certificates are produced directly by the company registrars and they can take between 2 and 10 weeks to arrive. This is why SoloShare send you the rest of the gift pack, including the presentation gift certificate immediately.
Can I sell the share if I choose?
Yes. Most people choose to keep their share and it should not be considered an investment. However your share can be sold at any time through channels authorised by the Financial Services Authority subject to the dealing costs involved and the marketability of the share at the time. In the event that you choose to sell your share, it is unlikely that the entire purchase price of the complete gift package would be recovered.
Is the value printed on the official share really what it is worth?
No. The amount printed on the official share certificate is the 'nominal value' and this does not bear any relation to the market value of the share. SoloShare gift packs are intended purely as gift items and should not be thought of as an investment, however the actual value of your share is determined by the stock market and this is constantly changing. The current market value of the share can be obtained from many media websites or the financial press.
What shares do you offer?
We currently only offer the shares that you will find on this site. SoloShare plan to develop it's range of gift packs to suit all tastes in the near future.
Can I buy more than one share gift pack?
Yes. You can buy as many gift packs as you like. However SoloShare offers the chance to own a single share as a gift idea; if you wish to purchase a number of shares as an investment you will have to contact your financial advisor or a stockbroker.
What is your cancellation/returns policy?
Within 30 days you can return the complete package in original condition for a refund. However because of the unique nature of this gift and the administration involved this will be subject to a 20% returns handling fee. Once the registration card has been submitted, there can be no refund.
What is your privacy policy?
We do not share customer's details with anyone other than our solicitors and the Registrar for purposes of issuing a single share.
What happens if my personal details change?
If the shareholder moves house, changes their name or wishes to transfer the share to a third party, the shareholder will have to notify the registrar of the company. All contact details are included on the share certificate that you will receive from the Registrar.
Where can I go to find details of share prices?
Any news website, for instance, www.bbc.co.uk will have details of current share values.
